“SWL Season XXIX - Premier League XXIX - Round 7

The match started with a pitch invasion that stunned 6 players (3 each). The net result was that it allowed us to get our players into position much more effectively than we probably could have without it. After securing the ball, we moved up towards the end zone fairly quickly, but, when snakes struck in turn 6, Eagle the Flighty was able to push the Flesh Burna over the line forcing a touchdown ... and a shot at the equaliser.

Fortunately our defence held, and we were able to retain the lead.

Half time score: 1-0

Although we both started with 11 players, the numbers started to thin out early in the second half. Patrician the Skilled got the ball to Oz the Ironman, who, assisted by Frozen Terror was able to push his way towards the end zone. We got a little bit lucky in the end, dodging two players away from Frozen Terror to get a blitz on the ball carrier. From there, we secured the ball, and pushed forwards, barely sneaking in a second touchdown before time ran out.

Final score: 2-0

Well, big guys can sometimes be a liability, but this game the Asgardian's new mino was on fire!
He made several important blitzes, and did a great job of escorting the ball carrier. Came very close to making the game a draw.

Dealt out the first cas for the Asgardians, taking Face Slappa out of the match for the entire second half.

1 pt: Oz the Ironman
Did what he could to get the ball into the end zone, and very nearly scored an equaliser.
