“A good crowd turned up to watch an expected VVV pummelling of Brigandined Engineers, and immediately got straight to the referee to ensure maximum carnage. However, the VVV players - rumoured to have been out drinking the night before - were slow and groggy and instead the Brigandined Engineers beat the living daylights out of them.

Down to just 5 players, with Titan clinging on to the ball and getting roughed up by the chaos dwarves surrounding him, Coach Chainsaw could be seen in the dugout cursing Nuffle as, with several turns left, the drive looked over and a loss inevitable. Grak - whose fouling had helped eliminate a number of chaos players - went in for one more instead of blocking Titan's escape route, and finally the ref stepped in. Titan seized his opportunity, slipping out of the maul and running clear. He was quickly joined by 2 beastman, and from a daunting losing position, all of a sudden it was VVV who were unfortunate - as they had been all game so far - not to score.

So, 0-0 at half time, VVV to kick, and with Semper Fi and Fist of Despair knocked out, it still looked bleak. However, the Brigandined Engineers players were unable to breach the wall of stubborn chaos players in front of them, and much to the surprise of the fans and Coach Chainsaw and Coach T4Y, Brikh slipped and the ball spilled. Eye of the Storm smashed through to eventually claim the ball.

With the intimidating warrior and beastman Cyanide out of reach by all but a bull centaur, it looked ominous for Brigandined Engineers. However the bull had other ideas, slipped his marker, and at full stretch sent his stronger opponent flying and the ball lose. Touchdown saved? Maybe not - Eye of the Storm dusted him self off, grabbed the bull by the ankles and threw it down. Titan slipped his marker, picked the ball up from under the hooves of the other bull, and handed off to Cyanide for a well earned and unlikely victory.

Coach T4Y will be kicking himself after losing this - everything went his way until the end of the game.”
