In a match where we constantly challenged ourselves with poor ball skills, we could only spare a thought for our adversaries who try trying even harder and coming up even shorter...
In a green mass of infinite pushing and shoving (and very little knocking down), 2 instances of players being thrown from the scuffle with the ball in hand saw the match heading for a hard played 1-1 draw.
The deciding play happened in the final turn, where all Coach Elan needed was a dodge away to secure a tied scoreline. A trip, an armour roll (for what was possibly the only armour break of the game), an injury roll, a casualty roll (only casualty of the game), a scatter roll, a crowd throw direction roll, and crowd throw distance and a catch by very confused green man in a tackle zone allowed for a simple push and stroll for the game win.
