“1st game for... well, i think for ever with Nurgles rotters. It's not that they are particularly bad or good at anything, it's more that the rain made it near impossible to pick the ball up for them, they only started making inroads into the skinks from the middle of the 2nd half, and a series of turn ending skulls and block failures wiped out any chance I had of winning. best I could do was guard the ball. My opponent played well, failed one block (turn ending skulls) all game as far as I can remember and just failed on key moments - when a pick up, or dodge would have made all the difference and a score.
Tough game for both teams. Mine is a player down (I retired the niggler) and the Lizards 2 players down. From a block viewpoint I was slightly luckier, and slightly unluckier too :S Weird
One of the Skink deaths was from a failed dodge. I think the luck score got it spot on here - in desperation I tried a 6 required pick ball up in the last turn, but that was not to be, and in truth I didn't deserve it. Giving the ball to the beast on a bad bounce was a waste.
Now the question is, whether to retire the team as 10 players, low spp, no skills, no money, low FF means I might as well start again.

Think I'll stick to orcs - bye bye rotters :)”
