It was a fouling match from the start and the fans were cheering in earnest. Limey, the Orc Lineman of Suggs, drew first blood when he badly hurt Elric. Bane, the Dark Elf Lineman of Paragon of Malevolence, struck back with a boot to the Troll, Gert which badly hurt him. In response, Limey dropped an elbow on Linken's face badly hurting him as well. Bane wouldn't let it be and retaliated with a leg drop right across the throat of the Black Orc, Reg, badly hurting him also. Unfortunately, the Referee had seen enough and threw Bane out of the game. The Wishmaster was upset that the dirty Orc Limey was still allowed to roam the field. But finally, the Ref threw Limey out as well when he tried to go after the Witch Lord, Malikith.
PoM tried to stall as long as possible but things started to fall apart late in the first half. It took heroic efforts from Darkstorn and Darwen to get the touchdown. Darkstorn (5 Agi, 2+,2,2,2,2) dodged through a Black Orc twice, picked up the ball in a tackle zone and passed it to the wide open Darwen standing by the sidelines. Darwen caught the accurate pass and it was just an Orc Blitzer standing in his way. He juked the Orc player and slipped past for a touchdown right as the buzzard sounded ending the first half.
The second half started with Suggs receiving. The immediately caged up their ball carrier the speedy Orc Blitzer, Tikich. Three Black Orcs were left but they held the cage firmly in place with their Guarding abilites. PoM kept probing for a weak spot but there was really none to exploit, although they did get a couple shots on the ball carrier. As a last ditch effort, Malikith dodged into two tackle zones (4+) and manned up on Tikich (1d, push, rr, push). Malikith pushed Tikich towards the Black Orcs and the Witch Lord was then subdued. This left the Orc Blitzer a wide open path to the end zone, tying the game as time ran out in regulation.
