“Another close game, the first half started by the typo hunters collecting the ball and leaving the ball carrier in blitzing range. i choose to ignore him and blitz the lone catcher who had made a move for my endzone. My re rolled blitz only managed a push back! From here i had left a big hole in the centre of the pitch, which the typo hunters capitalised on by breaking through and forming a cage. My war dancer tried his best but ended up face down in the dirt. result 1-0 down.
i luckily managed to pull it back to 1-1 before half time after my thrower rolled a double 2 that left the ball surrounded by the humans!!
The second half started bad as a blitz result on the kick off table left my team dangerously surrounded. After a failed dodge roll by a human blitzer my war dancer made a brake and managed an easy td. I think the blitz result helped me as my opponent pulled most of his team out of position.
All i had to do was stop the typos moving the ball down field. They made a break down one flank which i stopped by blitzing the ball carrier the bounce was kind to them. They picked it up and made a break to the other flank. My treeman decided to take root :( and my woodies scrambled to cover the break. It all came down to the last turn. I had a war dancer who could 1db the ball carrier but the way my dice had been this game i decided to move a lino into a better position............
My lino tried a 2+ dodge with rr but alas i rolled double 1s!!! From there the typo hunters walked the ball in for a turn 16 td.
Well played i look forward to a rematch.”
