“Yes, I had some luck at the end, but it didn't all go my way. With the WOS Legends receiving in the first half and having already suffered Doom & Gloom, the kick-off produced a perfect defence, and by the end of a pretty bashy first half the zons pulled off a lucky play to make it 1-0 at the half, with luck running at 61-46 to the Priestesses. Both sides had full KO boxes, but in the end it was the extra hobgoblins who were able to replace the fallen Legends who made the difference. It was one of those nondescript linemen who scored the tying TD, despite some excellent scrambling defence by the 6 or 7 Priestesses who were still on the field at that point.

The kick-off to the Legends produced a touchback, and facing a threadbare line of girlies proved no serious obstacle to Jack Dyer strolling in for the winner. Both sides fouled without much success, with the Legends' only foul resulting in a send-off, and the fourth Priestess foul being on star hobgob Sam Newman late in overtime producing nothing either. ”
