Some vicious hitting from the Bokonon blitzers in the first half made it look like the lizards were in deep trouble as several players left on stretchers. Unfortunately they could not press the advantage and despite the defense stopping Jurslabor II from scoring in the first half the lizards managed to put several of the Bokonon boys off the pitch so the second half started 8 vs. 9.

A fortunate bounce and a blitz gave the lizards another chance to score but sheer bad luck and the rain caused havoc. They finally snuck in the TD with two turns to go and it was too late for the humans to have a chance. Despite a 4 man advantage, a stupid coaching call and a double skull on a needless block with no RRs left no chance for an equaliser. Then, true to the game, a skink legged it to the endzone, another one snatched the ball (lying on the ground after another dropped pass), went for the TD pass and..... dropped it. Of course.
