The first half was ridiculously one-sided as my team got pulverized and I failed almost everything until turn 7 when my players seemed to wake up - by then too late. I had good position early in the half and with average dice I'm confident I would have turned over the ball. I thought Pakrovejas's tactic of holding the runner back was a mistake, but it worked this time - however in more even circumstances I don't think that's a good way to play dwarves.
It was 1-1 at half time after Pakrovejas inexplicably left a prone beastman only needed 1 dodge to get to the endzone and Titan made a nice pass.
The 2nd half, Pakrovejas seemed to get my dice, rolling a lot of pushes. Still, so was I, until 1 brutal turn where 3 dwarves left the field injured. That 'turned' the game and Pakrovejas never quite recovered. Only some lucky scatters and a late snake eyes prevented him from conceding a 3rd.
That set up a final round of blocks for the dwarves, in which Sacrifice was killed as the last block of the game. How unfortunate! Titan was spared injury by appreciative fans after he was thrown into the crowd just before Sacrifice died.”
