Rough KO's meant the HE started shorthanded in the second half, despite already BHing one norse and killing another.

Burt the norse brought plentiful Mb and hit back hard in the second half, punishing an early HE mistake and setting up good and deep in my half. some lucky elf defending made the score somewhat challenging, but the norse took it home and OT loomed. With the HE apoth used to ensure the catcher made the final, the sole Dragon warrior and attacking lynchpin of the side was killed. Nuffle always demands such sacrifices.

Then in turn 16 we managed to SI the ogre and BH another by foul, and the norse were looking thin for over time.

Over time saw the game descend into bitterness as the HE drove the numbers advatage home with more cas and some fouling, including one notably late one to remove the last MB blitzer. that caused a second death and darkened RC's mood. Slightly spoiling a good fun game, fought hard and well.
