“Risky game (aren't they all?) against an Ogre team with Nobbla and the other guy with the pogo stick - potential for pain was quite high. Initially didn't make any inroads into the Ogres/Gobbos then things changed towards end of 1st half with Goblins dropping like flies. Nothing worse than a miss next game which is good for the other coach, the stars they hired were useless though. Added to that I had the ref in the 1st half (not that it mattered - he was blind to both sides) and I was able to thin the ogres out and score in sweltering heat.

Mistake.

Missed 4 players from the kickoff from heat (Ogres none) and suddenly I was very outnumbered. Took a lot of chancing to dodge and block, relieve gobbo of ball, dodge and long bomb (strongarm helped) which came off to a lone lineman who romped home to finish the match.

All that was left was the T16 foul on the troll, which was ably assisted by a crowd of Ogres and got no more than a stun. Weak.

Best thing is enough cash to grab another reroll and no injuries to carry over, which is the biggest fear with Ogres. I even used the Apo on a badly hurt, bit daft but up till then they'd done nothing but knock me down. The ogres actually had pretty good luck aside from the odd turn when bone head really slowed the team down, and the odd failed pow/block (I had all the blocking skulls).

Not bad considering the Ogres have not a single reroll on the team!
