“Coach AloneAndBurned was quite pleaseed with his team today... there were no zombies that needed to be pieced back together. It seems his necromancy was getting more potent everyday. This game was all about team-work. No single player tried to outshine the others, and worked well together in a team setting. The Midgard Vikings were down 2 men at the start, meaning they could barely field eleven men. After that, it was all down the drain. Though they had massive skill in combat, the vast numbers of the relentless undead managed to swarm the field, and put the hurt on several Norsemen, leaving a couple battered to the extent of missing their next game.

The latest addition, Celebrian The Feminine did well, wielding the ball with excellent control, and dishing it out accurately. Her place in the team looks solid at this point.

Cusi, The Claws of FUNBBL did well, laying out a Norsemen, and sending several into the KO box. The poor Vikings got whiplash from seeing their teammates fly off the field. Cusi also made a beautiful leap to snag a pass from Celebrian out of the air to score in a subsequent turn.

The Coach's replica, AloneAndUndead The Vigilant received the MVP for being there in every situation. The wight showed to assist in blocks, clear the path for Cusi, as well as tie up certain key blitzers.

The other wight, Gorritawight The Sturdy managed to score as well, receiving a pass from Celebrian, and running up the sidelines for the score. He was untouched because of the beautiful coverage provided by the rest of the undead masses.

Peikko The Festering, Mezir The Stuck-Together and InkRose The Shoulder all performed admirably, each of them sending a Viking to the Medical Ward for healing. But Mezir receives an extra accolade. He was the one who went that extra inch to stop the opponents, albeit on the last turn, as he reached up and snagged the ball flying over his head, and ended the game thus.

Wow. I guess this game made up for the crappy luck I had earlier in the day playing Warhammer Fantasy on Tabletop... Got Massacred twice in an hour. It seems that the Dark Elf Curse[TM] exists there too.

Outofcontext was a good opponent, and never cried or whined about the way my luck was going. Then again, he was on the back foot from the start, since he was at exactly 11 players, and the casualties started almost instantly. A good game, and it came down to the last couple of turns to stave off the tie... Good luck to you in the future, I hope your team recovers well enough...
