“An epic clash to begin the new Faction round. I was praying for the Wankers to come down with a virus, however as 3 of their 4 nigglers niggled (including their troll) it would have been wasted. Some special pills from an unlicensed Dark Elven apothecary enabled my Clawed player to become a Str 5 (when blitzing) crazed menace. Regretably in my excitement I used my apothecary incorrectly on a niggle, a decision which would hurt me later.
A rather boring game at first, I was able to score early on (unusual for me). A lucky push and one of the Black Orcs was killed! Unfortunately the apothecary was still sober enough to save him. In a tactical move, my drug-crazed clawed blitzer Badly Hurt the Wanker's thrower, damaging his chances severly. A mishap with a Dirty Player's specially sharpened hoof accidentally impacting the skull of a prone Black Orc revealed a pre-existing injury, causing him to be sidelined for this match and another for good measure.
Then, in a typically low move, a foul by about the entire Wankers team killed my best Chaos Warrior, Big Jim Slade. Not deterred, my players knocked down and killed 2 of his players in return! By the second half it was bordering on a walk-over, however some clever rolling by his goblins and some bad rolls by my high agil players prevented me scoring a third time!
And as a postscript, I now have 2 Str 4 Agil 4 Blocking beastmen!”
