“Paragon of Malevolence received against the Dwarves of 1909 Marienhafe TV. Lazarus dropped back to pass and waited until his receivers got open. The Dwarves put pressure on the Witch Elf early and he was forced out of the pocket. Lazarus found Armand open and he was thrown the ball with no one in front of him. Armand ran it all the way into the end zone halfway into the first half.

Still plenty of time left in the first but PoM was able to make life difficult for the Dwarven receivers. They still had a shot for a touchdown but it relied on their Runner slash Thrower, Ditmar Amelsberg to throw a long bomb. Ditmar didn't have the range and he fumbled the ball ending the first half.

The second half started with Coach Neophyte stating, "Let's bash some Elves." That was not a good sign as several Dark Elves were knocked out and two seriously injured. The Dwarves had a near scare there towards the end when a Longbeard thought he was nimble enough to dodge into three tackle zones. He failed badly and it ended his team's turn prematurely. Luckily for 1909, it didn't compromise their ball carrier's position as a Dark Elf was unable to push away a corner of the cage for a blitz to come through. In retrospect the Wishmaster probably should have had his player re-attempt the block but he was playing conservative. In the end the Dwarves locked down most of their opponents and it was relatively easy to free up their ball carrier to run in the game tying touchdown.
