SeraphimRed: I’m about to catch a plane, err, teleport so this will have to be quick gentlemen.”

Reporter: Before we talk about your game, I wondered if you had an opinion on the controversy caused by the double promotions this season?”

SeraphimRed: “Do OBFTW only play Elves in Friendlies? Is Russo annoying? Is Coach Chewie going to shit his pants when he returns to find out he was forced into promotion?

Well, yes I have an opinion. First of all I don’t see the issue. Everyone knows that the lower divisions are a cesspit of untalented buffoons. The cream rises to the top, and as soon as you get amongst the levels of, oh I don’t know, say Real Sociedead, then you know you’re at the top! The Crowds come in, the games are more exciting and there’s altogether a much greater professionalism, not to mention the pay is better.

But looking at the Premiership I think you have it wrong, I see Bristol Reavers have wormed their way back up, proving my earlier point about the lower divisions being a cesspit of talentless idiots, but surely there must have been triple, nay, quad promotions looking at the cretins that have somehow managed to get in!
What are they doing? Giving promotions away with every WIL application submitted?

I mean, I’ve never even heard of Glassjaw Strangers let alone their manager kaytie!

Reporter: “Um, you just played them in your post season Friendly.”

SeraphimRed: “Really? That was them?”

Reporter: “Yes.”

SeraphimRed: “Wow, they suck horribly! We didn’t have a full team for that match and drew it.”

Reporter: “Erm, you were only missing Dragon.”

SeraphimRed: “Yes. The heart of the team. Well, at least relegation will be easier to avoid this season.”

Reporter: “I heard the club are currently enjoying their best ever period of being in the Black. Does this mean we can expect to see some new signings?”

SeraphimRed: “Well, playing the recent friendly against Kaytie’s team, I forget their name, it has highlighted the fact that we need a little more speed for when we’re up against it. So I see an investment in another Ghoul being made. However, we will be waiting on the draw before deciding where to funnel the funds.”

Reporter: “So how did you think the friendly went?”

SeraphimRed: “It went ok. With Dragon out our team was seriously outclassed on paper, but Real Sociedead have never bought into the pundit’s OBBA Team Ratings or Team Strengths that many others dwell on. We’re accustomed to being the underdogs but we fight just like one when we’re backed into a corner.
With Mummywell FC taking an uncharacteristic beating we might stave off too many injuries this season and with the right draw, for once, could actually make a challenge for the title.

Season 7’s friendly was a success as no one died nor aged… not that anyone picked up enough spps to get the opportunity :P
Without boots flying it obviously wasn’t as competitive as it could be but playing a Rotters team before kickoff was probably good practice for me as I am very unfamiliar with playing them. FA was an utter nightmare to play against and made my trademark last minute desperate TDs unmanageable in the first half.

Down 45TS there are few people I would have chosen to play against preseason, but Kaytie is one of them. ;)
