“The Dark Elves lined up with only 9 against a box fresh High Elf side, but i'd offered a 3 tree no skill fling side and new humans as well, so left it to my opponent who stayed good natured throughout, despite the complete hiding he got from the dice.

The Dark Elves dodging was great, their blocking not so, with more pushbacks than pows. Still, their 7 game experience showed when all I could do was push their dodge equipped guys around for a while, but I got enough pows and KOs to make the result a formality. Rather than going for death and cas spps I went FTW so ran in touchdowns whenever I could.

A single badly hurt was all I took, the Dark Elves had most of their team off the field at one point, and 2 players skilling up is a great result for the first game.

My only downer was not getting 50k to scrape an apothecary but that'd have been greedy I suppose :)

I'm not sure that numbers made a massive difference at the start, but they sure did after about turn 4 when the Dark Elves figured resting was a far easier option than dashing about and doing stuff.

It won't always be like this though, so the Paragons give praise to Nuffle and sacrifice chickens etc in his name.
