Strange, strange game.
Good that Windex didn't hire a wizard or it would have been a loss I think.
13 cas, 3 kills on me, -str on his legend saurus, ... Great to watch, hard to play. :) Too bad the game disconnected at the end for the spectators.
But first things first. I got 14 players, hired a wizard and Borak. Handicap was first Palmed Coin, but because of a bug it got changed to bonehead. I said it wasn't a problem if he gave it to my rookie beastman, but should have thought a bit longer about that, as you will hear about a bit later. :)
Windex got the ball (Palmed Coin, remember), but my tackle beastman was able to get the skink down rather easy. Got a bit too confident then and didn't try to score that half. Wizard was still there and thought 1-0 in second half would be doable. Probably my first big mistake there.
The second mistake was that I didn't stall in second half. For some reason I thought it was too dangerous (stupid disconnection, now I can't check it ...) so I gave my opponent 4 turns to score with the wizard still left. The wizard did a good job on the lightning, but I tried to pass it after that and an interception stopped the easy win there ... 1-1 and going to OT.
There I made the third big mistake. :) Wanted to skill my rookie beastman, but ofcourse he got bonehead ... When I got a touchback I couldn't help it to give the ball to him though ... :)
KO-rolls helped me though. So, I got the ball and I had 1 player more I think. Soon became difficult though when Borak got KO'ed and every turn a player of Windex or one of mine got knocked out. Was close in the end, but could score ... Skill for the beastman! (Which got the mvp anyway ... :))
3 turns to equalize. Windex thought I should have stalled again though, but this time I think it was best not to. No rr's left, bonehead had the ball and ss skink close. A good kick and some failed rolls secured the win in the end. All good I thought, until my ag4 beastman got killed too on a 1d. :) Well, fitting end of this crazy game. And atleast the regen worked on two of my rotters that were mng'ed.
Didn't play very well, rotters really aren't my race, but was fun as hell.

But what a game. Very violent, and out of 13 casaulties, only 4 were BH...and oh how I wish just ONE SI had been a BH.
The Fourth Angriest Lizard, my first and only Legend player, was dealt a career ending injury. In OT, after surviving being blocked down 4 turns in a row vs a clawed Rotter, Fanatic decided that bringing in the DP was required. The result: -STR.
At the time of his retirement, this was the Fourth Angriest Lizards' records.
