A hole was opened up on the corner of the cage and Draeke came in to sack the ball carrier inside. The ball flew into the air and right into his hands. An opposing player hit him right after and he fell badly hurt. Knights of Dread forced their opponents to the sidelines area where things got tight. A Witch Elf was intercepted by Judas as she was trying to pass to a receiver. Judas tried to make a break for it but ran out of gas and fell ending his team's chances of scoring in the first half. The Wishmaster knew he had made a mistake by urging his Blitzer on. He should have been more patient. Luckily, SL was not able to complete the pass to score and the first half ended.

KoD received and Elric was put under heavy pressure in the backfield. He threw a short pass to a Dark Elf Lineman but he was immediately taken down. The ball was taken by SL and ran near the KoD end zone. They ran the time down not giving KoD a chance to go for the win. On the 8th turn they scored tying the game.
