The Blood Falcons started in offence and facing all that MB, Claw and DP fouled first, a rare occurence outside of tournies. They got a KO, but got a BH on their own player (72 SPP Blitzer) on the return foul, but the Ref saw the Professors infraction, using up Get the Ref2.

The Falcons continued to lose players, with 3 BH in 3 turns but they scored quickly and lined up on defence.

Fearful of the Wizard, the Professors scored a 1T TD to tie the scores.

Both teams lost players to block/fouls, with the Falcons getting multiple players in the BH box, whilst the Professors were taking RIPs. Critically, 2 out of 3 of the Professor Tacklers (and both their Claw/Blow and Dusters) were injured, giving the Falcons some relief from knockdowns.

The Professors also saw their second DP sent off whilst the Falcons argued the call on one of their fouls.

It was a close game despite the Falcons coming back strong in the second half to outnumber the Professors after being Elfhandled in the first half.

Some highlights were me running out of time and not being able to run a Thrower to score (I had gone to the toilet, and talked to my wife about our newborn baby for a bit and forgot my clock was running down lol) and Headsplitter TWICE doing two dodges and powing my Blodge AG5 Legend Thrower, the second time KOing him LOL.

In the end however, I had enough numbers to secure the draw though it was a close thing, as I tripple skulled my block to free my ball carrier and had to make a 2+ with no RR to secure the draw.

Anyways, it was a fun game against a very fun and cheerful opponent who used Str4 Rats as linefodder LOL.”
