Bam! received a touchback in the first half, and they fought hard to make progress down the pitch. at the end of the drive, there was a lot of shoving down around the end zone, and eventually BAMboozle was freed enough to blitz in for the touchdown.

then the bad news began. the refs dialed back the clock for injury time, and despite a tough defense, Hellon was able to wriggle free and get the ball to Assinosen, who plowed through carBAMate for the touchdown.

demoralized, Bam!'s defense to start the second half was not so strong. BAMboozle took Leedo out of the game, but Leedo knocked him down, too, preventing him and a couple goblins from shifting their coverage. Factory in a box was easily able to get the ball through to Benhus for a simple touchdown.

only having used 1 turn in the second half, PTGMach convinces Bam! that they still have plenty of time to get down the field for an equalizer. they begin to push along, and Factory in a box collapses in on Bam!'s backfield. BAMbini squeezes it back out to safety. ..or so he thinks. with some help from Loodrir, Raketos knocks the ball loose, hurting BAMbini pretty badly. Saabara and Seenos collect the loose ball, and Bam! is unable to shake it out of them. they slip out, but then lose the ball soon after. as the clock ticks out, BAMmed tries to convince carBAMyl to knock Seenos out of his way, but carBAMyl can't wrap his head around the plan, and BAMmed grits his teeth and takes care of business himself. almost. he manages to slip past Seenos and scoop up the ball, but the elf is too tall, and BAMmed just can't lob it close enough to BAMboo for him to run it in. game over, 1-2.

many disgruntled Bam! fans went home feeling the game should have been a tie. some were so disgusted that they sold their season tickets.
