The Heroes' first match ended up as a bit of a drubbing, mainly due to poor defence.

From the kick off, we secured the ball but the weak LOS meant that their Rat Ogre could punch a whole and the gutter runners swarmed through, put pressure on the ball, got it and scored. Even helped by a touchback on the second kick off, once again failed to protect the ball sufficiently, allowing the All-stars to score again.

In the second half, failure to observe tackle zones led to two turnovers and despite having few players on the pitch, the All-stars scored a third touchdown.

Lessons Learned:

1. Always look for tackle zones before moving.

2. Teams can score in two turns if you set up your defence poorly.
