“The orcs pulled out a crazy win with a T15 Long Bomb after recovering the dwarfs' failed effort at a 2 turn score to take a lead of their own.

The orcs had it in their heads to gang foul every turn of the second half, and came near close to managing it. After a lucky turn of the dice let their fans get the ref despite a lower FF, their DP attempted to go on a rampage. The orcs got themselves so badly out of position that the dwarves had an easy time getting around their flank. If not for some poor clicking and wasted rerolls by the dwarves, it should have been a simple score.

As for those rerolls, this game was something of a trial. The dwarfs used the bulk of their up on double-skulled blocks, which came up far more often than they should have. Out of the 56 blocks thrown, 5 sets of skull/skull came up! And one turn it happened twice, resulting in Pneumatic's attempted suicide at the hands of a dwarf blitzer (apo drinks for free tonight, boys!).

Timmy had a few reroll issues of his own. His block-less Frenzy BoB used up 3 rerolls and caused 2 turnovers by my recollection, and his troll skull/skulled himself once.

Overall a pretty enjoyable game. Hurt a bit to lose on a fluke long bomb at the end, but it was Timmy's only option to steal the win. If not for the sissy-boy T16 foul just before he scored the winning TD though, we might have gone for a pint after the match. Instead, there were a few bearded glares across the pitch, and someone made a small addition to a very large book...”
