Game #7

My first game against Amazons. Suffered a turnover on the first drive and conceded a TD. Tried for a risky score on the second as half-time was approaching, but failed and conceded a second. Nearly held off the Carnival in the second half but not quite. Got a good consolation TD with a running play though.

Lessons Learned:

1. Be prepared to reroll blocks against blodgers if it is vital to get them down rather than just pushed back.

2. Move cover back first before attempting risky blocks.

3. 4 players on the LOS may prove insufficient if the opposition concentrate their attack in the centre.

4. Guard is a very useful skill, especially when caging.

5. It is better to be on your feet in a not quite perfect position than be on the ground but exactly where you want to be.
