Game #8

My first game vs a Necromantic team. This was a hard fought draw. The Death Toll, unsurprisingly, took up a ferocious approach and I was lucky not to incur any SIs or RIPs as players hit the ground like nine-pins. The onslaught continued in the second half with the Toll on offence but the Heroes were able to stall the ball in midfield and leave the opposition with too much ground to make up in the final turn.

Lessons Learned:

1. Players with Guard should be kept central otherwise they can be pushed wide and isolated.

2. The downside of an asymmetric offence is that a kick to the opposite side of the field can leave you with few men near the ball.

3. Pulling back and standing off forces fast players to either go it alone or move at the speed of their support players if they want to stay caged.
