“Challenge from: Me - as a recovery game with 10 men orcs... vs Ogres (I actually wanted the team to get pummelled into the floor)

Weirdest game I've had for a while. I needed a recovery game (down one player - thrower) from last game with my new no skill no talent orcs, and I figured - what the hell - Ogres! They will either run riot and kill the team off or have an off day and I can come out with the team intact. What actually happened was bizarre.

Not sure if Montblanc had a problem, but he was very slow to play, and when he did so he wouldn't bother blocking with his Ogres? I mean, 4 blocks in 16 turns? I got 38 in which is nowhere near as many as I could've done because I just wanted the game over with - so I'd run the ball up the field, Montblanc would click turn, without a word, and I'd run the ball home.

Not really a game, not sure what it was, as after the 1st couple of turns Montblanc didn't say anything (language barrier?), even though I was my usual chatty rambling self. As it turns out, talking to myself :S.

As far as the game went - it wasn't one. Get ball off Goblins, run ball to End Zone set up, repeat. No fun, and certainly not quite the recovery game I had in mind. I like seeing Throw team Mate and in this game, was actually quite looking forward to my guys getting their faces bashed in to reward my lack of faith in them from their first game, but this?

I would say thanks for the game, but it wasn't one. Montblanc, Hope you sort out whatever it was that was hacking you off - Ogres are horrible starting teams, but one thing they do well is beat the stuffing out of other teams. This one didn't even do that. They didn't do... well... anything really.

Probably strangest game I've had on here in 6 years of playing online bloodbowl, and certainly nothing resembling fun :(”
