“What started out looking promising for the ogres turned into a train wreck.
First half a rotter gets BH and doesn't regen on the first turn. The Ingredients score, but Agog manages a blitzing, tackle-breaking rumble to the end zone out of heavy traffic to tie 1-1 as the half ended.
Second half things went off course for Agog. A solid-looking misdirection drive put the rotters rather out of position as the ogres cut the field in half to zoom their AG4 gobbo up the far side with the ball. The Hot Dogs regrouped and tried to cut it off, but the ogres looked likely to punch a hole through to seal the go-ahead score and possibly stall out the half. But the ogres remembered they were ogres, and promptly forgot everything else, then one of the smart ones had shoelace issues and left the ball carrier with my last rotter in his face. The rotter squashes the ball carrier, and Other (AG4) came in for the scoop and ran off with the ball. We go up 2-1.
Final "drive" was a bit of a joke. A Blitz! on the kickoff got me deep into Agog territory, as well at let me break down the ogre line. A failed pickup (out of rerolls) led to the third Hot Dog TD.
Rough game for gkhornecki, with his ogres showing such promise early, only to go all...ogre...on him.”
