My first game against Norse. A satisfying victory, due mainly to errors and very bad luck on the part of my opponent.
A failed GFI by a House Grey blitzer allowed me break their cage and run in the first TD. They equalised with a great move; a hand-off leading to a long pass and a run-in. In the second half, the Heroes successfully caged the ball, opened a path to the end zone and ran in a TD due to a lack of deep defence. The third TD came from pressuring the ball and then an inaccurate pass going straight to the Heroes thrower! This allowed a breakaway and score.
Lessons Learned:
1. You might as well use Blitz if you are doing your last block of the turn.
2. Be aware of how quickly the ball can be moved around the field.
3. Capitalise on opposition mistakes quickly. ”
