The Cripplers' blistering pace put them into a scoring position instantly and the Heroes' attempts to cover back resulted in two Blitzers going crowd-surfing. The Cripplers' dirty player helped them live up to their name but the Heroes retaliated by targeting their Rat Ogre and only the apothecary saved his life! And that was just the first two turns!

Having worked the inevitable score, the rats set about thwarting the Heroes offence. Fouling by both sides continued apace and the Cripplers nearly got a score once they broke the cage but the Heroes recovered and had a chance of an improbable TD with a hand-off and then a pass into the endzone, but Malcovic lived up to his name and couldn't get the ball on target.

After half-time, the Heroes pressed forward and a risky hand-off led Malcovic atoning for his earlier mistake by running in an unlikely TD. From the restart, despite a blitz by the Heroes, the rats used their phenomenal speed to run the ball deep into the Heroes' territory and keep it safe from all attempts to retrieve it as they ran down the clock before scoring.

At the final kick-off, the Heroes were able to put the hurt on and with the Cripplers' doc already used, they suffered for it. Phoenix Wright also completed the pass he needed to skill up.

Lessons Learned:

1. Against a team with a player with the "Very Long Legs" skill, you need to defend as deep as possible.

2. Good caging takes practice.

3. Players with Guard can strengthen a cage immensely, make sure they are in it.

4. Don't block players with the Side Step skill near your cage as you often end up doing them a favour.

5. Blodgers are hard to put down.

6. Use chain pushes to free players from tackle zones.

7. Used correctly, a player with the "Dirty Player" skill can decimate an enemy team.
