His strategy was sound - bash a hole through the middle of my team and let me sweep up what was left with a dustpan and brush. The early foul and send off thinned him to 10 though and made things trickier. I concentrated purely on the ball and winced at every hit. Of the three injuries to Chop Blocks side, two were caused from block/pow failure the other was the Troll who failed Regen but the apo saved him.

I can't honestly say that things could have gone any better for me - save for the passer being a bit useless on the only attempted pass, my rerolls came in handy and I totally mucked up a blitz by dodging through instead of around tackle zones and got a skull for my efforts - rightly so.

Chop Blocks main problem in this one was not, in my opinion, blocking but no securing the ball. Just about every kick off had me with a Blitzer exerting a tackle zone on a loose ball and only 1 back field player on the other side to retrieve it, hence the score line.

Otherwise I was 3-4 players down for the majority of the match, Chop Blocks were 3 down and it was a rough, pick em up and knock em down kind of affair.

Thanks for the game Fatty - I don't think my teams advantage in team strength was the decider today - you soon thinned em out - just your bloodlust got in the way a little :) I was saving the apo for something worse than an injury to the gobbo but it never came, and the perma Ko (tm) on the black orc left me wanting every time I lined my players up to get their teeth smashed through their ass, but thankfully AV9 worked this time.

After the last game where my Dwarves were handed their asses (and that on dirty plates, not even bothered to clean) this game had me breathing a sigh of relief that my guys wouldn't fold like paper and crumble like cheese. Heh. 4 players down for long periods and I consider it a good game :) I must be soft in the head!
