“A difficult match as the Throwballs started in offence and SI MNG'ed a Str4 Line Orc with their second block of the game - the first one being a mistaken 1 dice block - if it has been a two dicer, it would not have been the cas (as the dice would be 1 out!).

However, the Throwbacks had a backfield ball handling error (failed hand off) and the Boyz were able to rush forward and apply the pressure, eventually scooping up the ball and running in for an early TD (3 turns).

On the next Throwbacks drive, their Ogre pushed down one wing, tying up some Orcs near the sideline (was going to foul it, but did other stuff and missed my chance hehe) whilst the rest of the team bunched up behind, before swinging to the other side.

The Boyz laid a tackle zone on the ball carrier, who failed his dodge and injured himself! The Boyz attacked and recovered the ball, but went for a stupid pass (5+ with pass reroll, with no team RR left for a 3+ catch that turn) and the ball scattered into a nice spot for the Throwballs who got the ball back for an easy score (3+ pick up with Sure Hands, 4+ pass with Pass reroll and 2+ catch).

With a 2 turn drive, the Boyz played hurry up offence down one wing and blitzed their way to a GFI TD to retake the lead into half time.

The second half it was all Throwballs as they whittled away the Boyz from a 11-10 advantage to an 8-10 disadvantage as the Boyz were forced to dodge and GFI to advance the cage downfield.

Eventually there was a tough chance for the Throwbacks to steal the ball and score, but after knocking it free, they failed the dodge to get to the ball (which was in a TZ so 4+ with Sure Hands required) and the Boyz escaped with a hardfought win.
