“In the words of the orc coach "Damn pointy ear gitz!"... this is the edited version of what he said when Smash n Grab was grabbed and smashed by the elf section of the crowd.
The Boyz were so taken back by the loss of the most agile orc they'd seen in a while that they couldn't concentrate properly, and let the elves run through them too many times.
Garnor Eagleclaw made a mockery of the greenskins tacklezones, completing 2 TD's, while Valien Swift was the reliable provider.
When the orcs received in the 1st half, it took the elves until the very last turn of the half to complete a dodge, pickup and long throw to score, and take a 0-1 lead. Early in the 2nd they scored again... and this got the orcs blood boiling... none of the splats they were landing did much at all, and that's if they didn't get a pushback.
It was mid 2nd half that the orcs completed a move to peg one back through the ever reliable Rocky Shinsmasha, while Earl Deball provided some accurate throws. But the offensive and defensive play of the Boyz was substandard compared to their pointy-eared opposition.
The orc coach left the ground without giving an interview... and frankly, any interviewer would have been suicidal to approach him!”
