“MIB prepared themselves for a rare attack from the Wood Elves. These battles had always been close, as the agents knew well.
The Elves attacked first, as the agents broke through to try and bring pressure to bear. The Elves then decided to attempt a pass which failed, allowing the agents to sweep into action and come away with the ball for 1-0. The Elves attacked again and once more the agents tried to put them under pressure. Several times the agents halted the Elven attack, but each time the Elves recovered as they went on to score for 1-1. MIB still had time for a final attack and all went well until, just as they were about to score, an agents slipped (double 1), so the score remained 1-1 at the break.
After the break MIB prepared to attack again, but the Elves were faster (Blitz) and quickly broke through the lines to secure the ball. Several agents tried to stop the unexpected attack, but all failed as the Elves took the score to 1-2. MIB attacked once more, but an error by one of the agents allowed the Elves to halt the attack. A melee ensued as the Elves pressed their attack, but when an Elf tried to jump to safety he tripped, allowing the agents time to recover the ball and bring it upfield, scoring for 2-2 as the battle came to a close.
The revenue received did not allow for a fourth Field Agent just yet, but Agent J did join the agency, ensuring thirteen agents would be available for the next battle.”
