“The Sinners were definitely not ready for the forces of good. This could be seen by the dismal showing at yesterday's game vs the Hammers Of Ligth. They couldn't spell, but they could hit.

Infact, in the first half, absolutely nothing happened for the Sinners as they tried to make several forays past the dwarven defense, but to no avail. Their runners were too fast, and could get around pretty well with the solid backbone of the Longbeards for support.

However, the second half spelled a different story. The Sinners, now kicking, had to grab the ball and try to score. That would not be the case. Corporal Misik had been knocked about like a little rag doll, and was growing furious. Finally, when he could take it no more, he lasged out at a longbeard, and ripped open his belly. That dwarf would take a while to heal. But Misik was not yet through. With a blood curdling roar, he leaped onto another longbeard, knocking him to the ground and scratching and stabbing him furiously. The poor dwarf would have sat on the sideline for the rest of the game, but the apothecary patched him up and sent him back.

Then 7 of the 11 players managed to knock themselves out in the following 3 turns, and the dwarves waited and scored at the last possible chance.

Setting up only 3 players on the line, in front of 11 Sinners, the dwarves managed to procure a blitz. However, they did not manage to do anything. Then Misik struck again, sending another Longbeard to the Medical facilities with some small injuries... nothing to put a permanent dent in him.

All this time, Sergeant Barich had been hounding after the ball... Seeing Misik rip apart another Longbeard stirred the beast inside him, and he howled, charging at the last standing longbeard on the field. The dwarf tried to scramble out of the way, but with no luck. Barich grabbed him by the scruff of his neck, and bit him in the neck, ripping out the jugular of the poor dwarf. As the Seriously Injured dwarf crumpled to the ground, Igar and Dyer exchanged the ball for a little practice.

As the team returned to the dugout, they found their latest recruit, Corpoal Drazin walk in. This team had a whole lot more power at its disposal now, and was ready for the teams of good!

This was one hell of a game. Everything I tried either failed or was stopped by Flix's solid defense. I earned enough to hire my first Flesh Golem... Good times ahead!
