“Not a fair matchup to begin with, with Meteors starting with only 8 men, this match quickly turned into a complete rout!
Meteors particularly suffered from the lack of any Throwers and several times failed to receive the ball adequately enough to stop Knuckledusters from swarming all over it with their superior numbers.

With neither team hitting particularly hard, Knuckledusters were still forced to suffer the loss of Lineman Simon Black who was killed by particularly vicious block.
Several anti-cloning groups (though chiefly Mickey & Finn Incorporated) had been campaigning against Twahn's genetically superior players in the week leading up to this match, and the subsequent flak caused had forced Knuckledusters to do without their Cell Regeneration Tank for this game. Simon Black could most likely otherwise have been saved from his untimely fate during the game.

Mr. Twahn was approached after the game and quoted...
"Sure, we could have saved the Black clone if we weren't prevented from using our Tank, but there's no real loss. We've managed to make another one and the guys from the lab tell me that this one should be even better than the last. We've called him Simon Black+".
