After Darrell Simmons was forced to take a leave of absence the Investigators recruited Tony Morgan to fill his spot. Tony, while lacking the experience of his predecessor, had a few tricks up his sleeve and helped his teammates to find cultists following the dread Atlach-Nacha, also known as the Spider Queen who weaves its webs between the waking world and the dreamlands.

After a pitched battle the Investigators once again strode off the field victorious, but Wendy Adams, one of their newest recruits, was knocked unconcious by the evildoers and had to be left to recover in the Arkham hospital.

Once again the forces of good prevails, but there is a nagging feeling in the Investigators that this is only the tip of the iceberg. They also know that it is only a matter of time before the evil forces plotting the demise of humankind catches wind of their attempts to halt the oncoming catastrophe. They can only pray that when that day comes they'll be ready...”
