“Our lizards face Chingis' skaven in a high-speed matchup! Their +AGI/DP gutter runner niggles out so they use up their apo to force him to play.

We kick and roll up a perfect defence that they are able to play around with a series of good 1d blocks. They then blitz a skink into the KO box and gang foul a saurus for a badly hurt- a great start for the rats!

We counter by badly hurting one of their stormvermin, and KO'ing the other! Their thrower is distracted, blocking over the skink we sent over to mark him, which means on our 2nd turn we're able to blitz him over with a saurus double GFI. He dodges away but can't manage to pick up the ball, letting the saurus blitz him again- this time it's a niggle! In the same action the saurus picks up the ball and scores a touchdown!

This sets off a massive riot between both sets of fans leading to the ref being so intimated he will not send off anyone from either team for the rest of the half! Their DPs are now #1 targets!

They start well, KO'ing a saurus with their DP then badly hurting another with a blitz! Ouch - we need those big lizards! The next turn it's another foul on a saurus for a KO- just 2 left on the pitch now! But we can't seem to stop him and he gets another KO (a skink) before our kroxi finally badly hurts him! By now their AGI5 GR has run through with the ball - and he coolly dodges past the 2 skinks marking him to make it 1-1!

The KO boxes remain quite full as we set up 8 vs 6 for the last two turns. We charge a saurus and a skink through into the backfield while taking out their LOS players. They are tempted by the saurus and use all 3 of their defending players to blitz him over and put in a DP boot (a stun). We counter with a non DP foul that niggles a linerat before running the ball up to our skink to make it 2-1 and half time!

No one wakes up from either KO box this time so we set up 8 (4 skinks) vs just 5, though at least a ref has been found for the 2nd half. On their first turn they badly hurt a saurus with a block and on the next KO another with their DP- pretty much evening the teams! Meanwhile my skink at the back has spent 3 turns failing to pick up a stationary ball.. They go for a 2nd foul in a row and get their GR sent off! That should help us! With no DPs left we foul back for the first time this half (a stun), but that doesn't stop them as a linerat dodges and fouls one of our skinks - badly hurting him! The fans are loving this!!

We foul back with our ball carrier- KO, and they KO a skink with a block. Down to just 4 vs 3!! When we finally secure the ball we can run downfield to score on our final turn with just 3 players each left on the pitch.

A totally blood-filled match where both teams were happy to put the boot in gratuitiously. And the fans agree with both FF increasing. Mental but great fun! Cya next time Chingis!”
