Our lizards face ts9's chaos. They have a nice winning record but unusually only have a single chaos warrior. With 11 players anyone we can remove early will give us a huge boost.

We kick and their first DP foul KOs a saurus. They then secure the ball with an AGI4 beastman and move it upfield. We briefly mark him, but he can dodge away quite easily into our half - but he's not very heavily guarded and our block/break tackle saurus can break away and blitz him down... catching the ball on the bounce! When they fail to knock him over he's able to blitz away (seriously injuring a guard beastman) and run down the far side line! Their +STR beastman shows his mettle as he dodges away to blitz over the ballcarrier- though he trips trying to dodge after the ball when it lands beside him! We secure it with a skink, using our last RR, survive a block-less 2d blitz, and then run it towards their endzone. On turn 7 double skulls from a saurus means they have a block-beastman now in range of the ballcarrier.. but luckily they can only push him back. On turn 8 as we engineer a 2d block to free him double skulls are rolled again! This time our star saurus is looking at a -MA injury so we use up our apo to prevent it. The half ends 0-0.

We get 2/2 KOs back while they get 0/2 so it's 11 vs 8... but we quickly squander the advantage with a skink foul that gets him sent off, only stunning the target. We get the ball under control and into their half- but at the expense of using all three rerolls by turn 3. And it costs us when they manage a nice blitz to knock the ball free and on our following turn we can only get both-down with an early saurus block, giving them the chance to seize the ball!

The only way he can go is backwards and as he tries to get safe he trips over going for it! We then do the same when we try and blitz some space around the ball. Neither team has any rerolls left and it shows as we hand each other turnover after turnover as the ball bounces around near their endzone. On our final turn everything finally works for us as we knock beastmen into the ball to bounce it out of the brawl. With just 2 skinks on the pitch we are able to dodge one to the endzone and the other is able to grab the ball and make the short pass for the touchdown!

Good game ts9! Could have gone either way pretty much til the end :)
