“I don't think I have ever pulled out a string of luck like this. The first half did not go well at all for the hunters. Smegish got an easy TD (to be expected) to start the match, then Blitz got him in position to claim another on (i didn't have enough guys back for the ball. And finally, thinking that 2-0 was too far to come back from, I went for a TD, failed, and the elves scored again.

So, 3-0 down at half time... oh yeah, like you can pull this one off...

And then, everything fell together (except the elves, which more fell apart than together). I finally managed to break armour a few times, scored a TD, and then was left with 4 turns to score two more TDs...

And out came the snakes. Even with Smegish getting some horrible luck, I still had to make risky play after risky play to somehow tie up the score.

Once we made it to overtime, things went a lot more smoothly. The elves ran out of players, and we were able to cage, and run down the clock for the win.”
