Recovery match for the Falcons who had 3 players MNG (108, 88 and 76 SPP).

Handicaps were:

Virus (none)
It Wasn't Me (on my AG5 Legend Thrower)
Smelling Salts
Bad Press
Iron Man

A tough match with the Falcons only having 12 players although the House had only one Tackler.

It started bad for the Falcons with the House causing a BH on our 119 SPP Thrower and KOing another player with a foul. The Falcons fans had killed the ref to start the half, but their DP was stunned on a Skull/Pow block on their first turn!

The Falcons attacked the ball, but also tried to keep the House DP herded away from his team, and BH him once (apothed!) and stunned him a couple of other times.

The Falcons didn't apply enough defensive pressure really, allowing the House to do a T8 score.

The Falcons did a OT TD with their MA8 Witch using chainpushes. My opponent dropped out along the way, but I had a screenshot and the text and we reloaded a few times until we could replicate the score.

Second half saw the Falcons start in offence, and they KO'd a LOS player with a foul to give them a player advantage, whilst keeping the ball deep.

Both teams exchanged useless (stun or less) fouls and then the House DP got sent off!

The House were outnumbered and could not stop the Falcons from taking the ball forwards for their own T8 score to win the match.

So the difference all in all, was my MA8 Witch which I chain pushed to a OT TD on T8, which did require some luck on my part - a 3+ dodge with RR, and 2 GFI, a 3+ pass, plus 3 pushes on blocks, and then a 3+, 3+, 2+ dodge with 2 GFI, so certainly very lucky.

If not for that, it would have likely been a 1-1 draw, or I would have been forced to try an early score in the second half and try to steal the ball.

Anyway, my opponent played well, especially in the first half to get that TD and we got our recovery, and he got +AG on a 31 SPP roll so a good result for both coaches.”
