“The Dwarves took on the DP heavy Smurfdestroyers and in the first half, fell into their trap of trying to exchange fouls. The Dwarves got rid of a rookie Lineman, only to lose their Dodge Sidestep Blitzer.

It took some doing, but the Dwarves eventually got a score after some mediocre play (took 2 GFI without RR after a needless GFI.

Also, the Dwarves Multiblock Troll Slayer chewed through rerolls trying to buy pows or to reroll the Skull on failed Dauntless rolls!

The Smurfdestroyers had two DPs sent off for their fouls, and the Dwarves also had theirs sent off (think we both lost one without the eye on us).

Second half saw the Smurfdestroyers start in offence and they soon KO'd two Dwarves. A KO on a Smurfdestroyer near the ball carrier forced them to score, giving the Dwarves 4 turns to reply. The Dwarf fans had killed the ref at the start of the half, but they had no DP to make effective fouls, but they did manage a good KO.

It was 10 on 10 and the Dwarves were on offence, and they managed pushed a cage up one side. The Smurfdestroyers managed to get a one dice Blitz with their Catcher, but it came up Skull/Pow and the Dwarves escaped with a T16 TD to win the game.

Well some good and very bad play by both of us. I did some needless moves so I had to GFI to score both times, and my opponent blitzed the wrong player at the start of his turn and got a 1 dice Skull instead of a 2 dice block, but the reroll saved him heh.

I was under a lot of pressure as he got so many pows on me, a lot of one dice ones too, but my luck was with the armour rolls and his DPs getting sent off in the first half (not so in the second half).

I was lucky enough to have enough players on the pitch to give the ball some protection and snatch an undeserved win.”
