We've just 11 players (including a freebooter goblin) after two MNGs in our last game against khemri. They also have 11 with 5 ogres and a horde of gobbos. We get one handicap of knuckle dusters for a blitzer who will now be in charge of goblin hunting!
We kick and they KO a lineman while we try (unsuccessfully) to hunt down some gobbos. They then manage to foul our goblin into the KO box and run the ball upfield- screening it well with goblins. We try our best but never even get a blitz on the ball carrier before they score on turn 6.
They kick and roll up a blitz that lets them punch through and get an ogre under the ball- though luckily he drops it. But it messes up our hopes for a touchdown before half time, and the ogres are realling putting the hits in now, badly hurting a black orc and a lineorc before the whistle.
And when neither of our KOs wake up it means we are in serious trouble setting up just 7 vs their full 11 for the second half. A goblin badly hurts our knuckledustered blitzer on their first turn, pretty much sealing the game. We do manage to blitz the gobbo who grabs the ball, killing him (apo fail), but soon we have 4 players left vs 11 and an ogre holding the ball. The game is pretty much sealed though we do eventually manage to get a 2nd cas, while our apo saves our only permanent damage (a kill). The ogres run in the touchdown on the final turn to seal the victory.
