In the second half the mummies started smacking a bit heavier, taking some 4 players out in the KO box, but Nuffle's classic trick to inspire hope and then crush it in the moment of the highest adrenalin rush struck again with pinpoint precision - a ghoul failed a critical dodge in the last turn to set the carrier free for the equalizer, knocking himself out... All in all, a rather stale, but not bloodless finale in which the dice spoke for themselves - 4 casualties, not a single regen for the Deatheads, while the single casualty on the Riding Hoods regenerated like clockwork.
The first title for the Riding Hoods and their coach in their FUMBBL career, this will be the match to remember for both coaches, although not both will be pleasant, i reckon. A big thanks to Deatheart, he handled himself like a real gentleman, despite everything Nuffle kept throwing at him. Another big "what if" for the history books, man.
