“Well, add another to the growing list of games that the dice have just killed me in. Failed rolls ALL over the place, ran under 30% luck for the first few turns, and didn't make my way UP to the 50% mark until T14 or 15. jinhx's luck on the other hand ran over 80% while mine was under 30% (yes, literally triple mine) for about 3 turns, during which time he got to the ball I couldn't secure and took a 1-0 lead. My major accomplishment was forcing him to score before the end of the half. My crazy dodgefest to get into blitzing range of the end zone (and threaten the ball carrier) brought me up to 44% :(
Despite the dice, I managed to make it competitive. I tied it 1-1 on defense with AG5 dodging and blitzing and picking up and passing in and through tackle zones. I wasn't able to hold out though, as he scored on T16 with a chain of 2+ 2+ 2+ 3+ 3+ 2+ (dodging out, GFI, QP, catch, hand off, GFI) that didn't even need a reroll. My gobbo-launch got airborne, but I failed the landing with reroll. Hadn't noticed all game prior, but jinhx has not a sinlge Tackle player on his team. The gobbo had his choice of path, if he hadn't splattered.”
