“Knock Out Punch won the coin toss and chose to receive. They ran the ball past midfield and a Beastman threw a pass to another Beastman waiting in a cage. Paragon of Malevolence committed all their forces and pushed the ball carrier backwards. Nagash was able to find an opening and knock the ball carrier down with an assist from Darwin. Dante picked the ball up in two tackle zones but couldn't get away. He was hit on the next turn and the ball was loose once again. An agile Beastman picked the ball up and hid behind his teammates. Elric wrapped around to the back and stunned him causing another fumble. The Chaos forces were able to recover but this had taken enough time off the clock. They hurried to get to midfield but the Dark Elves blocked their path. The Beastman ball carrier, Joe Lewis, tried to pass to a Chaos Warrior being covered by the Freebooter, Kondor. Joe was tripped up by Armand and that ended their chances to score before the half. Armand was not finished with his heroics and he picked the ball up to throw a long pass. Dante slipped away from three Beastmen trying to cover him and caught the ball in the end zone to score right before the break!

Nagash got the better of the one on one battle with his Chaos Warrior opponent and stunned him with a jab to the throat. Linken found the Lineman open and threw a long pass to him. It was accurate and he was off to the end zone for a commanding 2-0 lead. KOP received for the last time but they knew they didn't have enough time to advance the ball. PoM goes home with the victory.
