“Challenge from: Opponent

The skaven were down 1 player. It didn't matter at first - by turn 2 I had no rr left, by turn 3 I'd lost two players (both badly hurt, thrower and BOB). What followed was a forgettable mess basically. The luck score is utter utter nonsense. It didn't change with all the turn ending failure of trying to pick the ball up (I think it's made of soap). My armour melted like wax (2 BOBs badly hurt, Thrower too, couple of KOs) and the Skaven didn't realise they had AV7 until the 2nd half. Admittedly then they simply crumbled - not through any success of mine mostly, but more from their own failure.

My failure was fairly spectacular. I was luckier in the 2nd half with blocking and thinned the Skaven out with an occasional KO but couldn't pick the ball up without a helping hand from a pushed player, and then couldn't hand it off after 2 or 3 turn ending attempts - I could have scored to make it 2-0, guaranteed, unopposed, but saw no point in giving spp to a lino when a blitzer stood in the ez had 3spp already. Skill him up, right?

Yeah yeah, I should've walked it home instead, but by then I was past caring, whether the team won/lost/lived/died *meh* (followed quickly by *shrug*)

Games like this sap the enthusiasm from both coaches, and whilst it wasn't a 'dice rape' (I prefer the term dice mauling) as both teams suffered from the dice (though the skaven rat ogre managed a 6+ and 7+ TZ dodge before my disbelieving eyes) it's my 3rd on the trot where, other than moving players, anything that involves using dice has been stamped and earmarked 'Failure!'
