“Nothing to do with my opponent, but this game was BS.
Despite receiving THREE times in the first half, I was unable to finish a single turn with the ball in my hands, despite AG4 and rerolls. I was down 3-0 at the half without any remote chance to compete. Despite tackle zones and all, my opponent never failed a single pick up roll all game (though he did drop an unnecessary pass to start the second half).
The only reason the luck looks even remotely fair is that I held up better in the second half (my luck was only mediocre, not abyssmal) and I roughed up some undead. Plus, failing just one roll a turn (albeit badly, and the #1 most important roll) doesn't count that much against you.
It didn't matter what team my opponent brought, with the dice each of us got he'd have beaten me with a rookie fling team.
Edit to add: this was also a frustratingly long game. It took about an hour and a half, with multiple 4:00+ turns that ate up much of his reserve time. When asked, this time was spent "counting". Make a snack and use the bathroom before you play foomonkey.
Edit 2: Oh, and the game ended on a triple-skull roll by a guy with Block. I was even denied my T16 spp tries :(”
“i agree, he got raped in the 1st half as everything went in my favour.
come the 2nd half thing became alot more even with him roughing up 3 of my Undead in 1 turn and also scoring a TD. it should of been 4-0 but for my Ghoul fucking up a simple dodge out of a tackle zone near his end zone. later however he managed to blitz and dodge out from the touchline with 4x Orcs surrounding him making atleast 4 or 5 dice rolls to do so.
it was indeed a crazy game.”
