“Tough match in wet conditions. The Horned Ones were on defence to start the game and played valiantly, stopping a score, but getting a player killed and 3 KOd.

They KOd two Darkies, but they woke up but only 1 out of the 3 Horned Ones woke up at half time to leave them shortratted.

A Blitz! by the Battletech allowed them to apply some pressure (kick was too deep to steal) and we got the 2 dice Pow on the GR to knock the ball free.

Our higher numbers allowed us to protect the ball and take it deep for a late (T15) TD.

On the final drive, the Battletech got another Blitz! This time the ball was going to land in the midfield and with a big gap in the Horned Ones' line, the Darkies swarmed through, and were able to pick up the ball, pass, catch and GFI for a TD without a RR (lucky) to take a 2-0 victory.

Our luck didn't last post match though, where we rolled a 1 for winnings on a low gate game and we still don't have an Apo!”
