Challenge from: Opponent (Skaven 10 men)

I knew I was in for a long game when my 'hiya' was unanswered in the game chat window. K-wet is the sort of coach who will simply play, no chat whatsoever - or so it seemed. In turn 8 of half 1, his rats at 1-0 up, he tried a group foul on one of my guys, but it came to nothing. He'd used his apothecary previously after a block on his Rat Ogre had inflicted -ST.

A foul is a foul. When you do it, how you do it, why... who cares? Some try to justify it with it being tactical, others say sorry if it inflicts an injury.

Early in the 2nd half I dropped the rat Ogre and fouled him, resulting in his outright death, prompting K-wets' first words "thanks" to which I replied "you're welcome" and "Returning your foul from first half" or something like. He was apparently annoyed because I'd fouled after he'd already used his apothecary.

Is this some new unwritten rule I know nothing about? In my book, if I can return a foul you give me, I will. That's it. If you want to start a fouling war, get on with it, I'll try my best to join in and we'll have fun.

For the rest of the 2nd half, the dice were mine.

In the first half I'd failed dice/reroll/fail at key moments - a theme from the last 6 games or so - and more or less gifted the rats score. It seemed my luck kickstarted in the 2nd half because the Skaven simply dissolved. Before long there weren't many on the field (I was already missing 3 from KOs not returning, and a badly hurt) and the 2nd TD went in at T16.

K-wet had said "boring" a little before then. I could see his point - after all I'd barely scored a pow in the first half and messed up allowing him to score, and lost several players to KOs meaning my numbers advantage was gone. I didn't say "boring" - I just got on with it.

He disappeared at the end of the game without a word and I can't blame him - he got proper stuffed by the dice in the 2nd half.

I can't feel too bad though - I've been suffering from mediocre dice for a while and figure it was my turn to get some luck.
