“Farce of a game... we were on defence, and opponent causes a BH and a KO in his first 4 blocks, on his way to an easy score.

We are lucky enough to kill tie the Get the Ref roll (think we have lower FF by 3) and we spend the half fouling, causing lots of lots of CAS and a KO.

Opponent continues with his block power, and causes his third CAS from 6 or 7 blocks. However, my fouls are getting rid of players every turn and eventually he cried for mercy (though he still blocked me so I shoulda stomped him some more heh).

Second half, it is 9 vs 8, and we resume the fouling after taking the foot off his throat on about T6 first half. We get a few more KO and CAS and the ref is blind to the first couple of fouls, so my opponent fouls me back, taking the eye off and my DP again is more effective.

He had only 3? players left on the pitch at the end and we were able to farm a player to 6 and another to 31 in the final few turns, only for the player to reach 6 to get an MVP so wasted effort!

Well, I didn't enjoy that game a lot. Not because my opponent was not a good and fun sport, but taking the early cas and KO and then having to go foul crazy to win is sucky. I certainly don't like it, but I did it to try and get some control back in the game after taking 3 cas from his first 6 blocks.

I did ease up after his apoth went (failed) when the ref was dead at least.”
