“A tough game for the Dwarfs. In the first half they totally showed that dwarfs can do much more than just bash and hide it in the cave. Marc Mchole slipped through the Undead defense and positioned him self in TD proximity. While the Undead kept beating at the LOS Forest McRun, who was waiting deep in the Dwarfn half, carried the ball to the LOS and hurled it to Dough McHole. Dough started to run and handed the ball of to his waiting brother. The TD was secure, but looking at the time, the Dwarfs decided to stall, which cost them their Troll Slayser. The whole move seemed to have caught the Undead by surprise, because they resorted to violence, as there was nothing else they could do.
In the second half the Dwarfs managed to stop the offense of the Undead at the LOS with only 6 Dwarf players still on the pitch for a long time. But due to this majority in numbers Fleddar Stink managed to free himself and ran for the TD area. The Undead seemed confident to have a secure TD. But the Dwarfs had not given up, and a Longbeard dodged and blitzed the ballcarrier. The Fans (who were supporting the Dwarfs all the time) cheered as panic filled the the Undead. They managed to get the TD after all, but the moral winner of this game were clearly the Dwarfs. ”
“Who cares about morals? Seeing how much 1d and even -2d blocks a dwarfen team can throw without suffering a turnover, this case is even disputable after all. Let me put it this way: Despite Longbeards dodging from one TZ into the next one, despite the crowd swearing at the poor Zombies, Knuckles 'n' Bandages remained calm and managed to enforce a draw match.
Well, looking at the statistics above, I'm getting a little bit embarassed for the luck I've had without properly using it. It was a fun match and I'm sure those teams will meet again. We'll see who's filled with panic then ...”
